| The Housing Opportunities Program, or HOP, is a federally funded program. It offers HIV-positive persons assistance with housing needs. |

| To be eligible, a person must: |
 |
 |
be able to provide verification of being HIV-positive. |
 |
be a resident of Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Marion, Putnam, Sumter, Suwannee or Union County. |
 |
be able to meet the federal low-income guidelines for the area be able to document that the need for housing assistance is directly related to his/her HIV status. |
