Citrus County residents, businesses, community-based organizations and health-related professionals are invited to take a 15-minute survey to help identify the county’s most pressing health concerns. Survey results, along with local health data, will be used to develop a Community Health Needs Assessment for the county.

The Community Health Needs Assessment will guide planning initiatives for the Florida Department of Health in Citrus County, determine funding priorities for the Community Charitable Foundation and provide data for other entities in the community to use for grants.

The survey is available in English and Spanish from Nov. 14 to Dec. 23, 2022. Take the survey at https://tinyurl.com/24j6sey4 or visit www.WellFlorida.org and select “Surveys.”

The Community Health Needs Assessment is funded by the Florida Department of Health in Citrus County and the Citrus County Community Charitable Foundation. WellFlorida Council, the region’s health council and consultant for health causes, is conducting the surveys and creating the final report to be released in Summer 2023.

For more information about the surveys, contact Debbie Reich, WellFlorida Council, at dreich@wellflorida.org or 352-313-6500 x8014.
