Free Community Doula Program

Central and North Central Florida Healthy Start have partnered with University of Florida Master of Public Health students to survey pregnant women and new moms about a free community doula program. Doulas are non-medical professionals who help moms through labor, and provide emotional, physical and information support to her and her new family. Healthcare providers, community agencies, faith-based organizations and others are encouraged to share the survey with clients and patients. And, of course, pregnant women and new moms are invited to participate!
