Gainesville, Fla. – January 6th, 2026 – The Board of Directors of WellFlorida Council proudly recognizes Jeff Feller for 30 years of service, honoring a career marked by steady leadership, collaboration, and a lasting commitment to improving public health across Florida.

 

Feller began his service with WellFlorida in 1996, advancing from associate planner to Chief Operations Officer in 2008 and Chief Executive Officer in 2012. Since assuming the role of CEO, Jeff has guided WellFlorida Council through significant growth and evolving public health priorities, while maintaining a strong focus on the organization’s mission. Under his leadership, WellFlorida has expanded community-based prevention initiatives, supported maternal and child health programs, and strengthened partnerships with healthcare providers, public agencies, and community organizations.

 

“Jeff’s leadership has been instrumental in the success and longevity of WellFlorida Council,” said Anita Rembert, Chair of the Board of Directors. “For three decades, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to public service and to building collaborative solutions that benefit communities throughout the state.”

 

Throughout his tenure, Feller has overseen key organizational milestones, including the growth of evidence-based programs and the expansion of WellFlorida’s role as a trusted partner in planning, evaluation, and program implementation. Colleagues and partners consistently recognize him for fostering strong relationships and a mission-driven organizational culture.
