WellFlorida News Release
WellFlorida Council was honored with the Gold ADDY Award and the Larry Edwards Public Service Award at the 2016 ADDY Awards Gala on Feb. 26 in Gainesville.

Hosted by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the oldest national advertising trade association in the U.S., the gala honored student and professional excellence in advertising and media in a variety of categories.

WellFlorida was awarded for its public service campaign for the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Program (MIECHV), which is managed by Healthy Start of North Central Florida. The purpose of the campaign was to show parents that children’s behavior (though challenging at times) is linked to their developmental stages, and to recognize that parenting can be difficult and that help is available through a free parenting program.

A Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category, according to the AAF. The Larry Edwards Public Service award is given to the highest scoring public service piece or campaign.

Jill Dygert, Art Director and Communications Manager of WellFlorida, is credited with the creative direction, design and copy writing for the campaign.
