Fiscal Administration
WellFlorida assists other nonprofits and programs through revenue and expenditure planning, monitoring and approval of budgets, tax ordinances and other fiscal measures, as well as managing federal grants. As the lead agency for two Healthy Start coalitions, North Central Florida Ryan White CARE Program and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), WellFlorida has managed over $90 million in funding since 1991 for maternal and infant care and HIV/AIDS services—and has never had a negative finding in annual audits.
WellFlorida uses SAGE Fund Accounting software to ensure accuracy and transparency, as well as tracking. SAGE is an accounting software program tailored to nonprofits and is recommended by the US Health Resources and Services Administration for use in managing federal grants.
