Curricula Development

WellFlorida uses a rigorous process to develop health- and healthcare-related curricula. Using the latest in adult learning techniques, curricula are developed with subject matter experts for a variety of trainees—case managers, healthcare providers, practice managers, community health workers, general public, faith-based leaders, consortia, collaborations and organizational leaders. Initial drafts of the curricular materials are informed by formative research and organized stakeholder discussions. Curricula are evaluated for efficacy using standardized assessment tools. Training delivery can be customized to stakeholder’s needs (e.g., on-site, group or Internet-based).
