What’s Next for Our CHIP? Florida Public Health Association is offering a three part webinar series on Community Health Improvement Plans (CHIP). Guest speakers from Hernando County CHIP leaders, Office of Health Equity at Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County, and questions and answers with WellFlorida CHIP experts are on the agendas. North Central Florida Cancer Control Collaborative, which is overseen by WellFlorida Council, is offering a cultural competency training called Cancer Disparities and Digital Health Literacy on May 18. Guest speakers include Dr. Sue Friedman of Force and Dr. Laura Guyer of University of Florida. Register here. 

WellFlorida Council invites community leaders and the public to participate in a Town Hall on tobacco regulation, including smoke free policy, and tobacco sales, taxation, zoning and licensing. The Town Hall, a feature of the Florida Health Policy Leadership Academy, is a new initiative between the Bob Graham Center for Public Service and UF Health. The event will be conducted via Zoom on June 4. Register here.
