Upcoming community health fair

The health fair will emphasize health insurance literacy, opportunities for special enrollment periods in the ACA Marketplace options for coverage through Medicaid and Medicare, and low cost or charity care for people in the coverage gap.

Health Insurance Marketplace Navigators will be on hand to answer questions along with other organizations such as: ACORN Clinic, FL KidCare, HealthStreet, Suwannee River AHEC, and many more.

The fair will take place on August 1, from 11am to 3pm at the Boltin Center in Gainesville.

WellFlorida Council oversees the Health Insurance Marketplace Navigator program in North Central Florida and has partnered with organizations throughout 15 counties to provide Navigator services.
